Sempai Carolyn Budden
Nidan - 2nd Degree Black Belt
Carolyn began her journey along the martial way in early 1994 with a free Tai Chi class. It didn't take long for her to realize that the intensity and focus of the fast paced karate program was her real calling. After 4 years of intense training under the careful watch of her Sensei, Carolyn earned her black belt in 1998.
As a martial arts student, Carolyn is dedicated to the perfection of the technique. She diligently upholds the rationalism of karate with a true passion for the art. As a black belt, she is very aware of her position as both teacher and role model; what she expects from her students she gives back to the training equally and more.
Carolyn continues to work very closely with Renshi Rice as she progresses towards her next black belt rank. As an instructor in our weeKick program, Carolyn brings a fresh approach to this fun and energetic class. Renshi is working with Carolyn to finely tune her already exceptional teaching skills in preparation for a future as a Sensei.
Sempai Budden was promoted to the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in April of 2007. |
