Wishing Well for 10 Years:

Hanshi Carlos Montalvo - Founder Ronin Goju-Ryu Kai

Approximately five years ago, we met for the first time. Since that moment, I knew you were a true Martial Artist and a great human being. Years have taught me that I was correct. Now as a Senior Master in Ronin Goju-Ryu, 5th Degree Black Belt and the Director of a large Karate Organization comes many important responsibilities that only a person with your character, experience, charisma, wisdom and knowledge could take you where you are right now.

Every time I visit your Dojo, I could feel the hard work that you and your students had invested in it. The sweat, the pain, the triumphs and celebrations had made your Dojo one of the best in our Ronin Brotherhood Martial Arts Groups. On behalf of the more than 500 black belts from 14 countries, all Ronin members from the three Ronin Brotherhood Groups we want to join you, your family and students in the celebration of your Dojo in celebrating these past ten (10) years.

I am very proud to call you my student, Master Renshi Adette Rice and I am looking forward for a long lasting friendship in the Bushido, Way of the Warrior.

Respectfully,
Hanshi Carlos H. Montalvo

Sensei Layton Morrison

Only the good last a couple of years as a Sensei. To last ten years and to commit to teaching is a testiment to your character. I can only say that I am very proud to be a small part of setting you a this path.

All the best,
Layton

Roman Hatashita - President: Hatashita International

Congratulations Adette! Really great to see that your dojo is such a success. Your club has not only been outstanding as a business and dojo but also as a community leader developing youth. Gook luck with the dojo and may there be many more years of continued success.

Tana Swaniga - Smart Shopper Distribution Sales

Wow! 10 years already... how time flies! I have been privileged to be working with Driftwood Martial Arts during this time. It is Adette and Darren's hard work, dedication and passion that has helped them reach this milestone. How wonderful!

Congratulations! It has been a pleasure working with you and I look forward to our continued relationship for the next decade.

Sensei Dave Turkoski - Don Warrener's Martial Arts

I have had the good fortune of knowing Sensei Adette Rice for the past twenty years. During this time she has always shown herself to be a pleasant, hard working student and instructor of the Martial Arts. For the past ten years Sensei Rice has sent many of her students to compete in the Ontario Traditional Karate Challenge in Brantford, Ontario. It is from watching the conduct and quality of her students that have competed in my tournament that I began to realize what an excellent instructor she has become. All of her students carry themselves with great decorum and discipline. Their Martial Arts quality is second to none in Southern Ontario.

Keep up the good work Adette and congratulations on your ten year aniversary; here's to many many more!

Sincerely,
Sensei David Turkoski
